Fort Humboldt Redwoods State Park

Journey through time to discover the story of Fort Humboldt, a military outpost meant to settle the unrest between local Indigenous People and newly arrived gold miners, farmers and loggers in the mid 1800’s. Unravel the difficult truths of our past, and discuss how we can learn from these lessons to better shape our future.
